General Data
Alloy 2507, also known as UNS S32750, is a super-duplex stainless steel alloy that offers exceptional corrosion resistance and high mechanical strength. This alloy's excellent mechanical properties, including high tensile and yield strength, make it well-suited for applications in demanding conditions where both corrosion resistance and structural integrity are critical. The combination of these alloying elements results in a material with superior corrosion resistance in harsh environments, particularly in chloride-containing solutions. The duplex microstructure of Alloy 2507 imparts a combination of high strength and corrosion resistance, making it an attractive choice for situations where conventional stainless steels may fall short.
- Excellent corrosion resistance
- High strength
- Highly resistant to pitting and crevice corrosion
Mechanical Properties
The typical properties listed can usually be provided in rounds, sheet, strip, plate, & custom forgings. We have the equipment to produce small quantities in special sizes to meet our customers’ specific needs.
